Being in a long-distance relationship in Newcastle can make this beautiful city feel oddly faded. This piece captures the combined feelings of both the joyful anticipation of my love's arrival and the heartache of saying goodbye. Holding onto the words we promise to each other while we wait for one another's embrace and the same words we yearn to say, wishing for just more time in each other's company.

An illustrated poem about reassuring a loved one that you'll be with them through the good, the bad and the bit between. Supporting them through struggles and celebrating when everything works out.

The Moth That Fell In Love With The Moon
A simple love story focused around finding closure to a relationship by creating an alternate ending. This zine also takes inspiration from the historical meanings of the Hawthorn Tree, the phrase "The moon is beautiful, isn't it?" from the novelist, Natsume Sōseki and generalised spiritual symbolism.

Emotion Potions
This series is all about reclaiming historical and mythological potions from their negative and disturbing pasts, creating reimagined versions to bring comfort to those who need them.

Sleepless Night By The Tyne
This butterfly is a symbol of hope, optimism and a light in the darkness, focused around the city of Newcastle-Upon-Tyne and featuring not only the beautiful Tyne Bridge but also the cities colours of black and white.

Autumn 2023
Garden Gifts
This series focuses on positive symbolism found amongst the foliage - The bee bringing messages to deceased loved ones, the ladybug blessing good fortune and the moth providing positive transformations. Unlike the phrase "garden pests" these beautiful creatures are in fact a gift.

The Familiar Faces series focuses on resolving different periods of confusion many experience in their life time - Managing depression, finding peace from trauma and being empowered whilst under stress.
